Is in-store pick up available at Petco?

Yes! Petco has a buy online pick up in-store option which allows you to place an order at Petco.com and then pick it up at a local Petco store in your area. You’ll get notified once the order is ready, which is usually within a few hours and it is free! To pick up the item, just bring a valid ID with you along with the order number and you’re all set. How long does Petco hold my item for in-store pickup?

Petco will hold your order for 5 days from the time that a ready for pick up email is sent to you. If you are unable to pick up the item within that timeframe, a refund will be initiated 5.5days from the time you’re supposed to pick the order up. Learn more here.

What is Petco’s policy on returns?

If you’re not 100% happy with a product that you have purchased, you can return it to any Petco store, Unleashed by Petco store or by mail to a Petco.com warehouse. Any online purchase can be returned to any Petco or Unleashed by Petco store within 60 days from shipment date. Returns to Petco fulfillment/warehouse centers must be done within 60 days. Does Petco offer free shipping?

Yes. Free Standard Shipping is applied to orders $49 and up. PetcoOne Members receive free Standard Shipping as well. Note that free Standing Shipping offers are only available for the 48 contiguous states. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and P.O. Boxes do not qualify.

What is Petco Repeat Delivery?

Repeat Delivery is a subscription service that will regularly ship pet supplies straight to your door for as long as the subscription. Aside from the immense convenience it offers, it is also one way for customers to enjoy some big savings as they get the chance to save up to 20% on certain brands through the program. To sign up, just select the specific items you want delivered to you regularly, choose the interval of the delivery, and your first order will ship as soon as possible. Learn more here.

Can I change the items on my Petco Repeat Delivery?

Yes. You can change the flavor or the size of an item on your Repeat Delivery. Just go to the subscription detail screen, click on “Edit Item” and make the necessary changes. You can also change how often you receive a delivery or skip, pause, or cancel the subscription any time. Just go to the Repeat Delivery page and make all the necessary changes there.

Does Petco accept returns of prescription medicines and other pharmacy products?

Prescription items are not accepted for returns whether in-store or by mail. For problems with your order, call customer service at 1 (877) 738-6742. Damaged or incorrect medications may be refunded and the item must be disposed of immediately. You may also ask your veterinary clinic about the proper way of disposing of these medications or you can check with the veterinary hospitals available within some Petco stores for proper disposal advice.

Can I cancel or change my Petco order?

There is a very limited time after you’ve placed an order in which you can make changes to it or cancel it. If you need to do so, call Petco at 1 (877) 738-6742 as soon as possible for assistance.
