September 13, 2019 by Angie Long
In case you needed another excuse to make a Target run, the highly adored retailer's new loyalty program is set to launch on October 6th, and people are already getting hyped about it. Called Target Circle, the new loyalty program was created with the goal of offering a more personalized and easier shopping experience for everyone - not just Target RedCard holders. (Although being a RedCard holder still has its amazing perks.)
Here are 10 reasons to love Target's new loyalty program!
10 Things We Love About Target Circle
- It's totally free to sign up, so you have nothing to lose. There are no membership fees either.
- You get early access to sales, which will be a big bonus within the next few months with Black Friday and the holidays looming around the corner.
- Target Circle keeps track of your shopping habits so they can send you personalized offers that help you save money on things you actually buy and use regularly. Anytime you shop at Target, we recommend checking here at CouponCause to see what deals are available! Here are some Target coupon codes we currently offer:

- There are perks you can take advantage of throughout the year, which are also personalized. One such perk is a surprise on your birthday.
- Target Circle members get 1% back on all their Target purchases, which they can use to redeem during later shopping trips.
- If you run out of essentials, you can get free, next-day shipping with Target Restock.
- Target Circle members can feel good about making a difference in their community. Every time you buy something from Target as a Target Circle member, you earn a vote that lets you decide which of over 800 nonprofits you want Target to support.
- If you're loyal to Cartwheel, fear not. You're not losing any of the Cartwheel savings. Instead of through the Cartwheel app, you'll find the offers integrated within Target Circle features and simply renamed "Target Circle Offers."
- There's no leg work on your end if you're already a RedCard holder, as you'll be signed up for Target Circle automatically on October 6th. If you're not a RedCard holder, you can sign up by simply creating an account on Target.com or by providing your phone number to a Target associate who can get you signed up.
- It's easy to use. At checkout, just open the Target app and swipe a barcode to get your savings. Alternatively, you can provide your phone number to the cashier without even needing a smartphone.
If you have a Target RedCard, you still get the 5% back on your purchases, but unfortunately, you don't get the additional 1%. However, you do get all the other perks, including the ability to earn votes on which nonprofits Target gives to. Just connect Your RedCard to your Target Circle account. To start enjoying the benefits of Target Circle on October 6th, simply use your RedCard or sign up online. And if that 5% sounds better than 1%, here's where to apply for one of those coveted TargetRed cards.
