Casetify Biodegradable Smartphone Cases

Casetify has launched a line of biodegradable and compostable phone cases called CASETiFY CONSCiOUS. These phone cases are designed to protect your phone and also the planet. After 180 days, Casetify's biodegradable and compostable cases break down into C2O, H2O, and biomass via aerobic and anaerobic processes. This will only occur in specific conditions, so you do not need to worry about the case breaking down before you are done with it. Casetify offers a customizable biodegradable case in six different colors. Text, such as a name, can be added to the case too.

Are Casetify cases really biodegradable?

Yes, Casetify cases are biodegradable. Casetify's biodegradable and compostable phone cases are made with ecotify. Ecotify is a special proprietary blend of starch, biopolymers and bamboo created by Casetify. The cases decompose with aerobic and anaerobic processes. Various microbes, like fungi and insects, are needed to break down the case. The nitrogen changes into nitrates which plants are then able to use. The organic material breaks down first and then, the essential nutrients and water go back into the soil.
