Terrible, stupid decision to ruin this shoe
We've had great success with 13 versions of a fast, light, shoe with a minimal sole that also holds up and provides great support. What should we do with it next? I know! Ruin everything we've built by chunking out the sole and turning it into a big, fat ridiculous Hoka clone! - designers at Saucony probably

mourning the loss of the real kinvara
I have been a loyal kinvara since they were introduced. I loved their lightness and the ground feel. So disappointed with the extra cushioning in the 14 model, going from 22mm stack to 31mm is too much for me. Sadly will have to find another brand

I loved the Triumph 17 and put almost 500 miles on two pairs. But Triumph 18 and Triumph 19 were lackluster-the upper was better but the midsole was so much firmer than the Triumph 17. Triumph 20 finally gets it right. The upper is fantastic. The midsole is soft and rebounds well. And to make things ever better the shoe feels so much lighter! Thank you, Saucony!

I tried this in my local run shop and was stunned by the change. More height and alot more cushion and push. The feel of my favorite running shoe of all time is gone - I could not believe it. There are going to be alot of bummed Kinavara fans!

The endorphin pro 3 is an excellent update. Energy return and Bounce are awesome. And shoe feels great at all paces. It's like a mix between the Vaporfly and RC elite2!

Different, but not that different.
In the beginning, I hesitated about the obvious changes compared with the previous model. After running with them more than 50 miles, I just can say that I was wrong, the changes are making this shoe more congruent, with a broader base and the 4 mm drop is a pleasure for midfoot strikers, the firmness and the bounce is just perfect, more what do you expect for a shoe of this price. I use to wear the wide option in the previous model on this I am pretty fine with the standard. I hope you can try this shoes actually running , because is not the type of shoe that you love at the first sight. For some reason after some miles the feeling is very similar compared with the previous Kinvara?

Too narrow, had to send them back. Wish Saucony would make their carbon plate shoes in a wide version even if it's in the worst color imaginable.

I've owned every version of the Triumph since the 9. Some versions were good, some not so good. Loved the original Trump ISO, then came EVERUN versions and I dislike all of them. Saucony then updated to the Triumph 17 and it had really good cushioning. The 18 and 19 felt firmer and deader, but now comes the 20 and it's softer with more pop to it. I think this is a great update. The fit is perfect and it's a very comfortable upper. If you liked the 18 and 19 but wished it was a little softer you'll like the 20!

Best Plated Shoe Out There
Quite possibly the best, most versatile "super shoe" I've ever worn! Yes, they're perfectly plush for half to full marathon (and beyond), but they're also comfortable enough for speed work, long runs, recovery runs, really anything. I don't think I've ever been able to say that about a plate, plush racer. I absolutely love running in these shoes and it's scientifically proven (or something) that the pink color makes you run faster. I also appreciate the minimalist upper that doesn't skimp on comfort and provides some much needed airflow for Texas workouts and races.
