Does Leatherman have any restriction on what can be put on custom multi-tools?

When customizing your multi-tool, note that Leatherman moderates the images and tests being uploaded. They may reject and cancel orders that contain offensive, libelous, or profane phrases, content, or imagery such as those including alcohol and drugs, violence, pornography, or inappropriate text. You will receive an email in the event that your design got canceled or rejected in violation of this policy. You may also contact the customer service team for more assistance.

What is Leatherman’s warranty policy?

Leatherman is committed to creating tools that will last a lifetime. This is why a Leatherman tool is backed by a 25-year limited warranty. If your tool breaks, Leatherman will fix it. Just follow the instructions on the warranty page in order to send the product in. You can choose to send in the damaged item and receive an e-voucher which you can use on the web store or you can choose to have the damaged tool repaired or replaced instead.

When can I expect to receive my Leatherman e-voucher?

After receiving a returned tool, Leatherman will send the e-voucher to you via email. You can use the credits on the e-voucher on the web store- from buying products to upgrading your shipping option. What is Leatherman’s return policy?

Leatherman offers a 30-day return policy and will refund the total of the items that are being returned minus the shipping costs for each way, provided that the items are in their original product packaging, along with the packing slip. In the event that the return is due to an error by Leatherman, the shipping charges will be refunded and the return shipping will be duly compensated as well.


Note that engraved or customized items are not eligible for exchange or return. Also, orders for engraved or custom items cannot be cancele once received.
