How can you get Stansted Express tickets?
There are several ways to get Stansted Express tickets including online. These advance tickets can be bought 2 hours before departure up to 6 months in advance. They cannot be canceled online nor can they be refunded or transferred. You may also buy tickets through a mobile app or in person at the ticket office.
Is there a Stansted Express mobile app?
There is a mobile app for Stansted Express which can be used to buy tickets, as well as to get travel updates and more. The app is free to download in the Apple App Store or on Google Play.

Stansted Express has a number of savings methods including signing up for the newsletter, group offers, and web duo offers for 2 people who are traveling together. All discounts and savings are listed under "Offers" on the home page of the Stansted Express website.
How do you get a refund from Stansted Express?
Some tickets, including advance tickets purchased online cannot be refunded. In other cases, such as with a substantial delay (more than 15 minutes) there is a delay repay compensation program already in place. If you would still like to request a refund there is an administration fee of £10 which must be paid whether the refund is given or not. You can start the process by email at Refunds@stanstedexpress.com. Whether it is a delay compensation or full refund claim, you have 28 days to make your claim.
Does Stansted Express offer any type of assisted travel?
Anyone who may need assistance of any kind including with children, their luggage or physically getting on/off the train itself can ask for it 24 hours in advance of travel by calling 0800 028 28 78 or by email at Assistedtravel@abelliogreateranglia.co.uk.
Can you cancel or change a booking you've made online?
If you have booked travel with Stansted Express by using the online or mobile service you cannot change or cancel your tickets that way. You may be able to cancel by email at Stexrefunds@abelliogreateranglia.co.uk. You must make this request before the actual date of travel and within 28 days of the expiration date of the ticket. There will be a £10 administration fee for this request.
Can you only book train travel with Stansted Express?
No! You can use the Stansted Express website and mobile app to book theatre tickets as well as tickets to other events.
