You place an order with UrbanStems through the super easy to use website. For local deliveries (which includes Washington, DC, parts of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens) deliveries can be scheduled for the same day. Other deliveries are scheduled for delivery through FedEx. You can also subscribe to get fresh flowers delivered on your schedule.

Ordering from UrbanStems is easy. Go to the website and start searching for the perfect flower, plant or other gift for your occasion or event. You can search by color, by type of plant and more. Once you find the perfect bouquet (or plant), add it to the cart. You will be asked about the delivery area and then more information about your recipient, followed by your information and finally your payment. From there, the delivery will be scheduled and you will receive a confirmation email when it arrives.

UrbanStems delivers to areas of DC as well as parts of New York by truck and by bike courier. These deliveries can be scheduled as same day if ordered before the cut off time.

UrbanStems delivers to the continental US via FedEx deliveries. There are no deliveries to PO Boxes or to APO/FPO addresses. There are no choices given for delivery options. UrbanStems uses whichever service gets the flowers delivered in the fastest, safest and most convenient way for everyone.

UrbanStems does not deliver internationally however orders from other countries to locations in the US are accepted. All international orders must use a credit card that is registered within the United States or another form of payment such as Apple Pay or PayPal.

If the order has gone to prep it is too late to cancel. If you contact UrbanStems customer service before the order reaches that stage you may be able to make changes including canceling it completely.

If something is not right with your UrbanStems delivery it is important to call/email customer service as soon as possible and to document the exact problem. There is a time limit for asking for a refund which differs from item to item. For flowers and floral arrangements the time limit is three days. For plants, you have 10 days to make your initial complaint.

Subscriptions are a great way to ensure that you have fresh, beautiful flowers on a regular basis whether they are for your home or the office. UrbanStems offers three levels of subscription plans each with a different discount amount. You choose how often you want flowers and how long you want the subscription to last. You can also skip a delivery, pause a subscription or cancel at any time. Subscriptions do not auto renew. The three levels are The Signature Plan which has a 10% discount and comes with a glass vase for your first delivery only, The Premium Plan which has a 15% discount and also comes with a glass vase for the first delivery. The final level is the Vogue Plan which has a 20% discount and each delivery may come with a specially designed vase based on the arrangement that is being sent. Subscriptions can also be given as gifts.
