The hot days of August are coming to a close and fall is right around the corner. As we leave summer behind for the shorter days of September, there's a lot to be excited for! And we're not just talking about the prospect of cooler weather, either.

1. "Narcos" Season 3 on Netflix - September 1 - Sure, the "hero" of the first two seasons of Narcos, Pablo Escobar, is dead and buried. But that doesn't mean the story of drug trade and cartel violence is over! Tune in as season 3 of Narcos picks up where season 2 left off, the death of Pablo Escobar and the power vacuum that follows in Colombia.

5. "Bojack Horseman" Season 4 on Netflix - September 8 - If you haven't seen Bojack Horseman yet, you need to do yourself a serious favor. This animated Netflix favorite starring the always hilarious Will Arnett returns for season 4 in September.

6. "It" in theaters - September 8 - It, the classic horror movie that made every kid scared of clowns, is riding the current swing of nostalgia and returning to theaters everywhere in September 2017. The remake of this Stephen King classic is shaping up to be something special and we highly recommend heading to theaters for this one. This is a remake we don't foresee being a letdown!
7. New Foo Fighters album "Concrete and Gold" - September 15 - Rock legend Dave Grohl and his band the Foo Fighters return to the airwaves with new material to end the summer. The new album "Concrete and Gold" will be the bands ninth studio album.
8. "NBA 2K18" video game release - September 15 - We love the end of summer because that means our favorite sporting video game franchises are returning. Basketball season is officially back when NBA 2K18 hits shelves mid-September. Check out Amazon coupons to save on your favorite game titles.
9. Annual Apple Event - Mid-September - The annual Apple event in September always comes with a few exciting tech announcements. Whether it be the new iPhone 8 or a Mac update, this annual event is something to look forward to.
