Are Ashford Watches Real? 

This is a common question asked of most people buying something online. It is normal to wonder about a product’s authenticity when buying something at a discount, so Ashford reinsures consumers that all of its items are 100 percent authentic and have their original serial numbers intact.

Ashford’s certified pre-owned watches either come in the original manufacturer’s packaging or in Ashford’s own luxury packaging.

Are the Watches Sold on Ashford in Good Condition?

Ashford tries to ensure that all pre-owned watches are in good working condition, however, a handful of online reviewers have mentioned that their pre-owned watches malfunctioned after purchasing them. Most reviews are positive, however. To help ensure that customers get a watch that functions as it should, Ashford offers a one-year warranty.

The good thing about buying a certified pre-owned watch is that watch connoisseurs tend to take pretty good care of their watches. When they decide to sell them, it could be for a variety of reasons, including simply wanting to upgrade to something else. 

What is Ashford’s Warranty?

Ashford offers a one-year extensive warranty for certified pre-owned watches. The warranty covers anything that affects the movement of the watch,; however, it does not cover damage affecting the watch’s movement if it resulted from:
Mistreatment
Improper use
Exceeding the manufacturer’s water resistance limitations

Also not covered by the warranty is damage to the watch case, bracelet, strap, crown, stem, crystal/glass and the watch finish. The warranty will be voided if there are signs of shock to the watch.

Ashford fixes most problems on any mechanical, automatic or quartz watch at their own in-house repair facility. Certain circumstances require Ashford to order special parts in order to repair a watch, or to send the watch to its manufacturer or to a 3rd party for repair.

Ashford will replace the watch battery for two years from the original purchase date. 

What is Ashford’s Return Policy?

Customers who are not completely satisfied with their certified pre-owned watch can return it to Ashford in the same condition it was received and within 14 days of delivery. Then, Ashford will provide either a full refund of the purchase price or a store credit toward an exchange.

There is an exception for international orders. Any purchase sent to an address outside the United States is considered a final sale and cannot be returned.

Return shipping costs will not be refunded. Ashford will only refund the value of the item that is being returned or exchanged.

Can I Sell My Watches on Ashford Too?

In order to ensure that watches are authentic, Ashford does not allow people to sell their own watches through its website.
