Nurx Cons

• If your preferred brand of birth control isn't listed, you have to specifically ask for it. Usually, it can still be prescribed. 
• If you prefer a one-on-one visit with a doctor and typically have lots of health-related questions for him or her, Nurx might not be right for you. Nurx is not a substitute for regular gynecological visits. 
• Failing to disclose any medical information on your request for a prescription can be dangerous, leaving the onus on you if your prescription causes health problems that could have been otherwise avoided by providing accurate information. For example, you need to accurately disclose your blood pressure in order to be prescribed birth control with Nurx. Lying about your blood pressure or simply guessing the number could lead to complications.
• Nurx may give the false impression that seeing a regular physician on a regular basis isn't necessary. This is not true. Nurx is not trying to replace regular preventive or follow-up care. Instead, they're simply trying to make access to contraception easier.
