Get Healthy with Our 9 Favorite Dr. Fuhrman Recipes

Dr. Fuhrman's diet plan has a proven track record of success, with 25 years of teaching nutrition and healthy habits to achieve a sustainable body weight and disease reversal. His Nutritrarian diet focuses on high-nutrient per calorie consumption which you can read about here in our other article

Dr. Fuhrman is an advocate of replacing high calorie diets with high nutrient foods. It can be very challenging to change eating habits, even if they are completely unhealthy. Sometimes it seems that giving up processed foods will leave one with flavorless or bland food. But that is certainly not the case! There are so many flavors in Dr. Fuhrman's recipes that you'll never find yourself bored.

Let's take a look at 9 of our favorite recipes. Get started on your diet by visiting the Dr. Fuhrman page here at CouponCause to find offers that will help you save money on your purchases.

9 Delicious Dr. Fuhrman Diet Recipes

Apple Pie Oatmeal

This classic fall-inspired breakfast is loved by nearly everyone. Simply boil your oats and add diced apples, two chopped dates, chopped walnuts, cinnamon and vanilla. It tastes like a real apple pie and it is good for the digestive system as well. Here's a clean and hearty Dr. Fuhrman breakfast to start your day!

Broccoli Mushroom Casserole Supreme

This baked casserole is a Dr. Fuhrman spin on a classic favorite. Combine broccoli, sautéed mushrooms, kidney beans, and rice into a casserole dish with Dr. Fuhrman's Supreme Greens G-BOMBS Soup. Next, bake for 20 minutes and you'll have a strong casserole dish that is still light and refreshing.

Black Bean and Butternut Squash Chili

This recipe truly satisfies even the deepest of hungers. The chili is a combination of onion, garlic, squash, black beans, chili powder, cumin, and tomatoes. These are cooked together and topped with finely chopped Swiss chard for Zest. The final product is astoundingly delicious!

Chocolate Pecan Smoothie

This equally decadent, refreshing, and nutrient-rich smoothie is a great addition to your diet. Simply blend kale, almond milk, pomegranate juice, a banana, pecans, cocoa powder, frozen cherries, and flax seeds together. Make sure the consistency is perfectly smooth. This Dr. Fuhrman smoothie recipe is absolutely packed with vital micronutrients to power through your morning or recharge anytime.

Chipotle, Avocado, and White Bean Wraps

This recipe involves blending together pumpkin seeds with vinegar and raisins to make a dressing, and mashing beans and avocado together as a spread. Cabbage, carrot, and cilantro are tossed with the dressing and add a lot of crunch to this dish. This is an intense little recipe and is my number one favorite Dr. Fuhrman recipe.

Supreme Burgers

These are super-powered veggie burgers, not your average veggie burger for sure. A sesame seed and oat powder is mashed with black beans, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and Dr. Fuhrman's Supreme Greens G-BOMBS Soup. This forms seven patties that are baked and served on lettuce wraps, garnished with fresh veggies for a hearty dish.

Antioxidant-Rich Breakfast Bars

These bars are tasty, healthy and make a great snack anytime during the day. Start off with a mashed banana then add oats, frozen blueberries, raisins, pomegranate juice, dates, walnuts, goji berries, sunflower, and flax seeds and mix thoroughly. Bake for approximately 25 minutes and allow them to cool off.

Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream

This is a delicious Dr. Fuhrman recipe for a frozen treat with no dairy at all! Start with frozen bananas, which are peeled and placed in a bag in advance to making this dessert. Blend the frozen bananas with soy milk, cocoa powder, hazelnuts, and dates until smooth, rich, and creamy then freeze the mixture until desired consistency.

Fudgy Black Bean Brownies

Black bean brownies? Who knew?! In a food processor, mix black beans, dates, and almond butter. After making that properly smooth, add vanilla, cocoa, and chia seeds, and blend until even smoother. Spread in an oiled 8x8 pan and bake for 1.5 hours. You can also make a delicious topping by blending avocado, cocoa, dates, vanilla, and water.
