Mexicali Blues was started in 1988 with it's first shop opening in Portland, Maine by Pete and Kim Erskine. Products found at Mexicali Blues have been sourced from all around the world! In the early days, it was Pete and Kim who traveled the world, from Lima to Bangkok, looking for the best pieces to feature in their new store. 

Also found in that Portland, Maine store were a selection of Grateful Dead-inspired goods and other "hippie-fied" items. Oh, and they used to close shop just because it was nice out and hey, they wanted to enjoy the day!

They've come a long way since then but they still feature globally sourced products that are sure to brighten up your look and your day. From fashion you can wear, accessories to pair or home decor to style out your living space, Mexicali Blues has an eclectic variety of international goods available both online and in their 6 shops around the country. Their store is truly an homage to the various fashions and "vibes" of the locations the items come from.
