Yes. Namecheap offers a refund policy for all Reseller, Shared, Dedicated Server, and VPS Host purchases. First-time accounts are eligible for the Namecheap 30-day money-back guarantee on all hosting plans. However, email subscriptions and renewals are non-refundable. Yes. To downgrade or upgrade your hosting package, you will have to submit a request with the Namecheap billing team. Upgrades and downgrades are processed on a prorated basis. Downgrades will result in a credit and upgrades will result in a higher bill. Billing dates for hosting accounts will fall on the same date every month. If you have purchased your account on the 10^th of the month, your billing cycle will fall on the 10^th of the following month.

Hosting accounts are generally invoiced 7 days before the billing date. If there is a registered payment method on the account, it will be charged 7 days after the invoice was generated. Your account will be suspended if there is no payment made within 7 days from the due date. If it has been 30 days since the due date and the outstanding balance has still not been paid, the account will be terminated.

Yes. To use the auto-renew feature, must have a valid form of payment associated with it. As of the moment, PayPal is not accepted for auto-renewal payments. To turn the auto-renewal feature on, sign in to your account, select “Domain List” and then click on “Manage”. From here you can toggle the auto-renew feature on and off. Credit card and PayPal funds are may take up to 30 minutes to be added but are generally added right away. Funds added through Bitcoin should appear in the account once the payment clears- which may take up to 24 hours. Bitcoin payments are non-refundable as per Namecheap policy. For problems adding funds to your Namecheap account, submit a ticket to the billing department for proper assistance.
