Giving Tuesday is a specific day each year that people and businesses around the world use as an opportunity to give back to the communities that support them. This year, CouponCause has made a donation of $5,000 to three different charities in recognition of Giving Tuesday and in support of causes we think are important.

Leave No Trace
When people leave their homes and go out into nature for some relaxation or excitement, they also take on added responsibility. This responsibility is to the environment and ensuring that visited areas are left as clean and natural as they were before visitors arrived.
Leave No Trace is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating people on the best ways to interact with nature. They focus on a few main categories:

- Connecting Youth to Nature

A good education goes a long way in improving the lives of people. Having appropriate school supplies is a necessary part of the education process and in the United States, it's an unfortunate fact that the burden of purchasing these items often falls on teachers.
AdoptAClassroom.org makes it possible for teachers to raise funds from supporters that can be used to purchase these supplies. Teachers set up their profile pages, to which donations can be made. Then, similar to having a savings account, teachers can use those funds to purchase school supplies directly from the AdoptAClassroom.org website. The items are then delivered directly to the teacher at the school where they are employed.
