Rover services are available in more than 34,000 cities around the world. You can search for local providers using your computer or the mobile app.

Rover does not provide services directly but through their network of qualified, trusted sitters you can get services that include boarding, day care, house sitting, drop in visits and walks.

There is a Rover mobile app which can be used by pet owners or sitters to do a wide range of activities including setting a booking, checking in with your pet and more. The app is free to download and can be found on the Apple Store here or on Google Play here.

Services are paid for through the Rover dashboard on your computer or smartphone, or through the mobile app. Sitters should not be paid in cash or by personal check. If you choose to pay without going through the network you are at risk of losing the protection of the Rover Guarantee. Paying through the system is simple and requires a payment method on file and a few seconds of time.

Rover accepts the following payment methods for services as well as for purchases made at the Rover Store. Shopify Pay is an additional payment method which may be used at the Rover Store.

The Rover Guarantee protects both the pet owner and the sitter in the event that there is an injury or property damage during a booking. This guarantee may provide compensation for injuries including emergency vet care as well as reimbursement for other claims. The Rover Store will only accept returns for items that are defective. Returns should be made within 30 days.
